Waffle-Iron Cookies Recipe

When sugared and topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream, these quick and easy waffle cookies are delicious.

and they can be done up and customised so many ways that you'll want to make them again.  

Waffle cookies are fantastic for baking and gifting or serving as dessert at parties since they taste and look great. You'll use this waffle cookie recipe again and again to impress and please!  

Ingredients Softened butter (1/2 cup) 1 cup sugar 2 big room-temperature eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract  

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt Confectionery sugar  

Whip butter and sugar in a large bowl for 5-7 minutes until fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla. In another basin, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture (thick).  

Place tablespoonfuls of dough 3-4 inches apart on a greased waffle iron. Bake 2-3 minutes until dark brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Sprinkle confectioners' sugar.
