Pimm’s Cup Recipe

Everyone should try this British favorite this summer. The sparkling, floral Pimm's Cup is a Wimbledon fixture but tastes fantastic at home.

The most famous sports events have distinctive drinks.

The Kentucky Derby has the mint julep, the Masters the Azalea cocktail, and Wimbledon the Pimm's Cup.

You don't need to love tennis to serve that last one. English and American Pimm's Cups have been popular since the 1800s.

Pimm's Cup cocktails feature the aromatic and colorful herbal alcohol Pimm's No. 1. It's mixed with lemon and ginger ale to form a summery, light drink.

Ingredients Ice cubes 1 1/2 ounces Pimm's #1 Fresh lemon juice, 1/2 oz 3 ounces lemon-lime or ginger ale Fresh mint, cucumber, and strawberry slices

Half-fill a shaker with ice. Lemon juice and Pimm's. Cover and shake 10-15 seconds till condensation forms on shaker.

Strain Pimm's over ice in rocks glass. Sprinkle cucumber, strawberry, and mint over ginger ale.
