Microwave Poached Egg Recipe

For quick poached eggs, use your microwave! Simple as cracking an egg into a microwave-safe glass.

There are several ways to poach eggs (remember our air fryer poached eggs), but this one is the easiest and always yields a runny center.  

Pour water into a microwave-safe cup. Crack an egg into water. To prevent microwave explosions, puncture a hole in the yolk using a toothpick.  

Egg in microwave for 1 minute. If egg white isn't set after 1 minute, microwave for 30 seconds. With a slotted spoon, take the egg from the water and drain on paper towels. Serve now.
