Lemon Bundt Cake

This recipe begins with conventional cake components including flour, sugar, butter, and eggs.   

Buttermilk contributes to the cake's excellent texture, and enough of lemon zest is used in the batter for a strong citrus flavor.  

After the cake comes out of the oven, it is drizzled with lemon syrup to add taste.  

The final step is to spread a thick layer of cream cheese frosting. Slice up your cake and enjoy!  

Use a microplane to zest your lemons; it works far better than a typical box grater! Make careful to grease and flour your pan so the cake can readily release.  

I thoroughly grease the pan with vegetable oil cooking spray, then shake in a little flour to coat everything.  

If you want a more brilliant colored cake, add a few drops of yellow food coloring to the mixture.  

You may use any style of bundt pan you like; I chose a classic pan, but there are so many different bundt pans available nowadays!
