Healthy Pumpkin Smoothie Recipe

This simple and nutritious Pumpkin Smoothie contains banana, unsweetened pumpkin puree, chia seeds, plain yogurt, pumpkin spice, and maple syrup.

This kid-approved pumpkin smoothie recipe is creamy and sweet, making it the ideal fall treat for breakfast, lunch, or dessert!

It's no secret that pumpkin, pumpkin spice, and pumpkin pie are some of my favorite ways to celebrate the cooler weather that comes with autumn.

Fall would not be complete without my favorite sweet and savory pumpkin recipes, such as Pumpkin Veggie Burgers and Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.

So, when my four-year-old requested a smoothie, I decided to surprise him with a creamy pumpkin spiced, banana and maple syrup sweetened pumpkin smoothie.

As a huge smoothie fan, I was unsure what my most critical recipe tester would make of the new flavor. Pumpkin pie isn't his thing, so I knew this was going to be a gamble.

He drank almost the entire thing. Not a whole serving. However, the entire blender filled with pumpkin smoothie. He now asks this "orange smoothie" every day.

Milk - Use your favorite: soy, dairy, almond, you get the picture. Pumpkin puree - homemade or canned; anything goes. You can also use butternut or acorn squash puree as an alternative.
