This vivid and creamy green goddess gnocchi makes a delicious spring 20-minute dinner. It's full of fresh basil, tarragon, chives, and dill and seasonal vegetables. Each bite has pillowy gnocchi.
Green goddess works well as a salad dressing, drizzled on goddess bowls, sandwich and wrap spread, and spoonable soup. The silky, pastel green spaghetti sauce you've been yearning for is here.
There are numerous green goddess recipes, each with a unique blend of fresh, delicate herbs. Traditional versions use tarragon, which has a tingling, anise-like flavor that you may not like. Tarragon might be hard to locate at the grocery store.
If you don't like tarragon or can't locate it, use additional dill or basil. Forgiving blender spaghetti sauce is wonderful. Use any combination of soft green herbs—at least 1 1/2 cups (more is acceptable!).
For a spring-inspired dinner, combine gnocchi with asparagus and snap peas after preparing the sauce. Feel free to experiment with other green vegetables. Broccoli, green beans, chopped kale, or Swiss chard work too.
