Garlic Sesame Kimchi

Do you have an old jar of Kimchi in your fridge that is starting to smell worse than you can stand and you're not sure what to do with it? Then you should try this quick and easy (less than 10 minutes!) kimchi stir fry.

I prefer fresh kimchi most of the time. However, when the Kimchi reaches around 2 weeks old, it begins to develop a sour taste and a harsher scent.

Then I start eating less of this kimchi unless I can hide it in some other way.

Garlic Sesame Kimchi is one solution. I simply pan-fry the kimchi until it is gently coated with sesame seeds and oil. It is smooth, nutty, easy, and versatile.

Typically served with steamed rice as a side dish, it can also be served over rice as a major meal (also known as "Kimchi rice bowl" = 김치덮밥, Kimchi Deopbap).

You can also use it as a relish on hot dogs, hamburgers, wraps, and so on!P.S. For more wonderful ways to cook with kimchi, check out my how to consume kimchi article!
