Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Combine 3 cups all-purpose flour and 2 tablespoons baking powder. Kosher salt, 1/4 tsp 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) cold, cut-up butter and 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted, softened butter  

1 3/4 cup whole mil 1 1/2 cups strong cheddar shredded 3 tsp garlic powder, divided One tablespoon chopped fresh parsley  

DIRECTION

Preheat oven to 400°. Beat flour, baking powder, salt, and 3/4 cup butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on low speed, then medium speed, until a dough with pea-sized lumps forms.  

Step 2 Spoon 2" dough lumps onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.  

Step 3 Bake biscuits 18–20 minutes till lightly brown.  

Step 4 Put 1/2 cup butter in a small heatproof basin and microwave for 20 seconds, stirring between each, until melted, about 1 minute. Mix in parsley and remaining 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Step 5 While heated, brush butter mixture on biscuits.
