Copycat Pizza Hot Pockets Recipe

What's more nostalgic than a sizzling, cheesy Hot Pocket? These spicy, pizza-inspired pockets make a great game day appetizer or snack.  

We copied the pizza Hot Pocket using packaged pizza dough,  

store-bought marinara, cheese, and pepperoni. The egg wash makes the crust golden brown and shiny. The iconic snack needs a makeover.  

Fillings are endless once you master the procedure! Our air fryer hot pockets recipe has all the filling ideas.  

Ingredients: 1 (13.8 ounce) pizza dough can 1/2 cup marinara 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella 1/2 cup tiny pepperoni Beat 1 large egg with 1 tbsp. water.  

Preheat oven to 400° and line baking sheet with parchment.   In Step 2, roll out one can of dough to a 12"x15" rectangle on a floured board. Cut lengthwise into four 3.75" x 6" rectangles.   

Fold one side over to meet the other after topping half the rectangle. Finger-pinch all sides and tuck seams.   Step 3 Brush egg wash and place on baking sheet.  

Step 4 Bake 18–20 minutes until brown and fluffy.
