The debate over Australia's national dish—roasted lamb, green chicken curry, or barramundi burger—will continue. Zucchini slice is indeed the national cuisine of the home cook.
Your lamb, barra, and curry may be on a restaurant menu, but not our favorite savory slice. Far too humble. It creeps into lunches, dinners, and appetizers.
Zucchini slice is taste au's most popular recipe because it's easier than a quiche, tastier than an omelette, and works.
We've tried many zucchini slice recipes, but this is the best. After being submitted by Artarmon Public School in Sydney,
it has over 1,000 reviews and has been tried by schoolchildren and the taste team's severe food experts.
