Air Fryer Zucchini Chips Recipe

Air Fryer Zucchini Chips are a healthy and delicious snack that’s easy to make and perfect for satisfying those crunchy cravings.

These chips are a lighter alternative to traditional potato chips, offering a crisp texture and a burst of flavor in every bite. The air fryer allows you to achieve a golden-brown finish without the need for excessive oil, making these chips a guilt-free treat.

– 2 medium zucchinis, thinly sliced – 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (optional, for a crispier coating) – 2 large eggs, beaten – 1 cup panko breadcrumbs or regular breadcrumb – 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Ingredients

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon onion powder – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – Cooking spray

Prepare the Zucchini: – Start by washing the zucchinis thoroughly. Using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife, slice the zucchinis into thin rounds, about 1/8-inch thick. The thinner the slices, the crispier the chips will be.

Instruction

Set Up the Breading Station: – Place the flour in one shallow dish (if using). – In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs until smooth. – In a third shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Bread the Zucchini Slices:Dip each zucchini slice in the flour, coating both sides lightly. Shake off any excess flour. Next, dip the floured zucchini slice into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the zucchini slice with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the crumbs stick. Repeat with all the slices.

Preheat the Air Fryer: – Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
