Braised Pork Loin Chops Recipe

Chop, chop! Braised pork loin chops are easy to cook and everyone likes them.

Who doesn't like braised pork loin chops?  This fast dinner takes 30 minutes—including prep.

The rosemary, sage, and parsley seasonings are strong but not spicy, made with common spices and a splash of dry white wine or apple juice.

Whether grilled, slow cooked, barbecued, or braised, pork chops are lean and healthy.

Their low fat and high protein make them a winning midweek dish.

INGREDIENTS One minced garlic clove 1 tsp rubbed sage 1 tsp crushed dried rosemary 1/2 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper

Four 4-ounce, 1/2-inch-thick boneless pork loin chops 1 tbsp butter 1 Tbsp olive oil 3/4 cup apple juice or dry white wine 1 tablespoon fresh parsley minced

Mix first 5 ingredients; rub pork chops on both sides. Brown chops on all sides in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat with butter and oil. Get out of pan. Remove browned parts from pan by boiling wine in same pan. Cook uncovered until liquid is 1/2 cup. Add chops; boil again. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 6-8 minutes to tenderise pork. Sprinkle parsley.
