Whiskey Sour Recipe

There are various ways to customise this whisky sour. Or without foamy egg whites? Serving up or rocky? Any way you shake it, this classic cocktail is drinkable.  

Sweet, tangy, and boozy—this whisky sour recipe is excellent. Traditional bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup,   

and egg whites (for a frothy top) make a delicious cocktail that has lasted the test of time. One of those traditional bourbon cocktails you can drink year-round.  

Ingredients: - Ice cubes 2 oz Bourbon whiskey 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice 1/2 oz simple syrup Optional 1/2 ounce pasteurised liquid egg white GARNISH: Orange wedge with maraschino cherry.  

Fill a shaker 3/4 with ice. Mix Bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup.  

Cover and shake 10-15 seconds till condensation forms on shaker. Cool and strain into a rocks glass. If desired, garnish.

Combine whisky, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white in shaker. Shake while covered to mix. Fill shaker with ice.
