The Best Omelette Recipe

I'm used to difficult recipes. I've made ice cream without a machine, perfected gravy, and fried doughnuts.  

Nothing has worked for me to prepare an omelette. It seems like the easiest breakfast to make, but I can't make an omelette.  

I can easily make other recipes, but folding eggs? Nope! It's impossible.  

I asked Chef Alan Vargas, Executive Chef at the Consulate in New York City, how to cook the perfect omelette to fix my omelette problems. His clever tips helped me cook and flip an omelette at home. Make an omelette flawlessly every time with this guide.  

INGREDIENTS 2 eggs 1-tsp heavy cream 1/2 Tbsp butter Desired fillings  

Full Omelette Recipe Mix eggs and heavy cream in a small bowl. Heat a non-stick pan on medium. Pan-melt butter.  

Pour in the egg mixture and heat for 1–2 minutes until halfway cooked. Fill the omelette centre with your fillings.  

Use a spatula to halve the omelette. Slide the omelette to a plate after 30 seconds further cooking. Serve now.
