Rum Balls Recipe

These rum balls are made using a combination of liquor, chocolate, pecans, and cookie crumbs, which are rolled together and sprinkled. The ideal treat or present for the holidays, sure to please family and friends.

There is nothing better than homemade goodies, especially during the holidays. I like to serve peanut brittle, chocolate-covered Oreos, exquisite eggnog cake,

and these wonderful little rum balls to my visitors.When the holidays come around, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking festive sweets.

These no-bake rum balls take only a few minutes to make and are the ideal combination of nuts and chocolate.

These rum balls are one of my favorite Christmas treats, along with peppermint bark, Christmas crack, peanut butter flowers, cake truffles, and reindeer chow.

This recipe for rum balls includes vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla brand), nuts, chocolate chips, rum, powdered sugar, light corn syrup, vanilla essence, salt, and sprinkles.

Making rum balls involves combining the various components in a pool of melted chocolate. First, melt some chocolate in a big microwave-safe bowl. 

Incorporate sifted powered sugar (confectioners' sugar) into the chocolate. Combine dark rum, vanilla, and corn syrup. In a separate bowl, combine crushed vanilla wafers, pecans, and salt.
