Pot Stickers Recipe

Avoid the freezer aisle—making pot stickers will be the most fun and tasty activity of the week. This ginger and pork-filled pot sticker dish uses a few ingredients to create a crisp exterior and tasty interior.   

These are worth every second—serve them as a weeknight dinner to impress or freeze some to munch on for weeks.  

Never made pot stickers? Our favorite filling techniques are explained in our video and photographs below. Don't stress about folding. They'll taste great either way.  

Ingredients for dumplings 1 pound. ground pork 1/4 c. low-sodium chicken broth 2 thin-sliced green onions, white and green sections separated 2 grated garlic cloves  

Two tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce 2-tsp sesame oil 2 tsp. grated ginger Optional: 2 tsp fish sauce 1 big, lightly beaten egg  

Make dumplings: Stir pork, broth, white green onion pieces, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, fish sauce, and egg in a large bowl.  

Mix ingredients with your hands or a wooden spoon until mixed. In step 2, line a small baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly flour it.  

Place 4 dumpling wrappers on your work area and cover the rest with a clean kitchen towel. Put a heaping teaspoon of pork filling below the center of each wrapper.
